Every now and then, I’d like to be able to come in here and share a handful of old photos I’ve taken. When I initially started blogging, it was to discuss books, but I also really wanted to take and share some photographs. Past Millicent foolishly destroyed all her content on her website rather than simply archiving it, but I’m here now to begin rectifying the issue.
It’s been fun browsing my old photographs. There’s so many of them, and it’s been a while since I’ve busted my camera out and gone on some photography adventures. Those things are good for the soul though and I believe one is long overdue!
Above is a koala at Healesville Sanctuary. I took this photo when my sister and I took a friend of hers who was visiting from the USA to come hang out with the Aussie animals.
A few years back now, my sister and I took our mum to the Tesselaar Tulip Festival for her birthday. Mum and I both enjoy a bit of gardening, Maddy and I both like taking photos, and all three of us enjoy flowers. It had been raining (pictured above), but thankfully wasn’t a complete washout like last years festival when I went with my sister-in-law!
Below is a photo from my first ever trip to Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays, on the first morning of my stay. Ah! I love Airlie Beach! It’s absolutely divine, and I’d love to go visit there again sometime soon.
Do you enjoy taking photos, or is looking at the stories others capture visually more in line with your interests? Both are great, but if you do enjoy taking photographs, do you have somewhere or something in particular that you really love to photograph? Tell us in the comments below!
